There are many all-inclusive packages on the market. The orientation is difficult for the customer. Our advice: do not only look for the watt ratings, because often the power consumption (e.g. the subbox) and the output power (e.g. the amp) will be added together for promotional purposes. However, important is what comes out, no matter how many watts come to use in addition. The result is the so called sound pressure level, which stands for real bass fun – and this is measured in decibels (dB). In the case of our MERCURY package you can have 141dB SPL in a mid-size vehicle and this means a lot of bass fun (Measured with a Term-Lab System at 52 Hz in a VW Golf V).

Another highlight: Since the set comes with a 4-channel amp, two more channels with 2 x 125 watts are available to run the front front speakers. The channels 3+4 run the subwoofer in bridge-mode. By the way: 10 dB more output is perceived like doubling the acoustically perceived volume.
